Focus On Your Target Market To Achieve Home Business Success

To achieve success in a home based business it is of critical importance to maintain a laser beam focus on your target market and to direct your marketing activities to that specific group.

Website traffic is one thing, but targeted traffic is everything. You have no doubt seen dozens of offers similar to “10,000 hits per hour driven to your website!”. This type of website traffic is completely untargeted and will undoubtedly result in a very low conversion ratio. It’s basically “throw it up against the wall and hope something sticks”. The big incoming numbers give the illusion of progress, but you will achieve better results with a lower volume of highly targeted traffic. I speak from experience because in the early days of developing my home business, I went for the big numbers instead of focusing on targeting prospects. It took me a while to appreciate the importance of targeting (quality) instead of just going for the big numbers, but it was a lesson well learned.

Exchanging links has been an important part of generating website traffic for quite some time, but the vast majority of people looking to trade links don’t understand that just wildly swapping links with any willing webmaster is not the way to go. For the last few years, most webmasters have been in a “pleasing Google” mode since Google had such a dominant position. Now that challengers are emerging, most notably Yahoo, MSN, and Ask Jeeves, the search engine ranking landscape is becoming much more complicated than just marching to the tune Google plays. Many website owners seem to be of the opinion that the sole purpose of exchanging links is to try to improve the search engine ranking position of their website.

While it is true that links pointing to your website can help your search engine ranking, the reason for obtaining inbound links goes far deeper than that. In my opinion, the targeted traffic that relevant links pointing to your site will bring can be as important as the traffic that comes to your website from people using search engines. This is where linking philosophy comes in. If you limit yourself to exchanging links only with websites that have a theme highly relevant to your own, the traffic you receive from those links will be far more targeted (valuable) than traffic you might receive from links with websites that have nothing to do with your theme. Not only do highly relevant links bring you more highly targeted traffic, but they also play a “customer satisfaction” role for visitors to your website who arrived there as a result of a search engine query. If someone arrives at your website after performing a search for, lets say “work at home” and then finds your website full of links to a bunch of off topic sites (Viagra, online casinos, hotel reservations, sports betting, etc, etc) the impression is often not favorable and may actually drive your visitor away before they consider whatever it is that your website itself is offering.

Keep your eye on the bullseye and develop highly targeted traffic by having good content on your website and exchanging links with highly relevant sites that also offer good content. Always keep in mind that…traffic is one thing, but targeted traffic is everything.

Great Ways To Obtain Link Popularity

I hate reciprocal linking.

It is such a hassle. Even specialized reciprocal linking sites don’t really help all that much. Many of the link requests that I do get are from poker sites that are totally irrelevant to my site’s content. Most of the sites that I would like to link to don’t respond. Some sites supposedly do respond, but, when I search their sites, I can’t find my link anywhere. It is just so totally and completely frustrating.

Link popularity is a major factor in search engine rankings. How does someone like me, who despises reciprocal linking, go about improving my site’s link popularity?

Fortunately for me, I have discovered two ways to do exactly that. They are blogging and submitting articles.

I added the Work At Home Ideas Blog to my website two weeks ago. Search engines love content and blogs are about the easiest way to add fresh content to your site. But, how can a blog improve your site’s link popularity? Most blogs feature their own RSS or XML feed. If a visitor to your blog likes your content, then he just might decide to syndicate your content on his website. In the past two weeks, my blog’s XML feed has been hit more than 150 times. I expect to get at least some new links out of that.

Writing articles and submitting them to article directories is another great way to get more links pointing back to your site. You can place your own “resource box”(similar to the one at the bottom of this article) at the bottom of your articles. Your resource box wiil contain a link back to your website. The article directory will publish your article and–BAM-you have an instant link back to your website. Submitting articles is a great way to get your site’s popularity going like gangbusters.

Here are some outstanding article directories that you should be submitting to:

IdeaMarketers — http://www.ideamarketers.com/

EzineArticles — http://www.ezinearticles.com/

GoArticles — http://www.goarticles.com/

ISnare — http://www.isnare.com/

Internet Home Business Articles– http://www.internethomebusinessarticles.com/

Here is a little tip for your article submissions. Many article directories allow you to enter HTML code in your articles. This gives you the ability to control the anchor text of your site’s link in the resource box of your article. The anchor text of your link serve as keywords for the search engines. Use a keyword research tool, such as Good Keywords(http://www.goodkeywords.com/), to vary your anchor text from week to week. By doing this, you will rapidly build up a number of keywords for your site.

By using your blog’s RSS or XML feed and submitting articles, you can increase the link poularity of your website without all of the hassles of reciprocal linking.

Like Links? Begin With Top-notch Content

hese days, one of the best routes to traffic from search engines is posting substantive content that has value for a particular audience. Then you want to get that content linked like heck. Inbound links increase your chances of rising in the search engine ranks. When you’ve chosen an appealing topic, filled your piece with meaty content and kept self-promotion to no more than 10 percent of the file, you should be able to arrange free links with a lot of effort and no monetary outlay. Here’s how I’ve done it.

The obvious, head-on type of link campaign would involve visiting a search engine, plunking in the keywords that would index your bait piece and screening the sites that turn up, selecting those likely to be receptive to a link request. Best bets: non-commercial information sites trying to offer comprehensive links to quality resources in your topic area. For linking to your bait piece, forget brochure sites of companies and professional firms unless they include a sizable link directory.

Because this method forces you to screen out so many poor candidates for links, I use a more backhanded technique. First I identify a well-established site or page containing substantive bait that targets the very audience I would like to reach. By “well-established,” I mean something from a respected source that has been on the Web for at least a year — the longer the better. Then I perform a link search to hone in on sites that have linked to the well-established site’s bait.

For instance, when looking for sites to link to my resources for freelance writers, I sifted through sites linking to the late lamented Inkspot, which predated me on the Web by a couple of years. When looking for link candidates in the solo-professional category for my marketing and publicity resources, I performed a link search on predecessor Working Solo.

Several of the major search engines make a link search easy to do. For example, at Altavista.com, if I wanted to find which sites had linked to the ClickZ Network, I would type: (without the quotation marks) “+link:clickz.com - site:clickz.com” into the search box. This asks Altavista to find all pages linking to clickz.com except pages within the ClickZ domain itself.

You can also use free-standing services set up for precisely this kind of search, such as linkpopularity.com, which provides easy access to the links turned up by Altavista, Hotbot and Google.

Now once you’ve identified sites you consider likely to add a link to yours, how should you approach them? I’m not a big fan of a “you link me, I’ll link you…” overture. To me that implies that your site lacks intrinsic value and that you have to add an incentive to become worthy of the link. Also, you’ll often find sites you don’t want to link to (because they’re amateur-looking or contain nothing distinctive, for instance) but still want links from. Instead, I tell the Webmaster or site owner that I’m writing to tell them about a new resource on ___ that would make their list of links even more valuable, or more comprehensive.

If you are creating a master list of topical links for your own site, it works well to say that you’ve linked to them and would they consider a link in return? This makes most people curious enough to check your site and reciprocate where appropriate.

Make sure your link request is patently personal, a genuine one-to-one message. And instead of merely providing a URL that you invite them to check out, provide the title of your bait piece and say something about its value to their site visitors. Something in the format of a press release, or any kind of carbon-copy message, will definitely not yield the results you want.

I have to admit that even with the strategy outlined above, the quest for links is tedious and slow. Don’t even get started with it unless you feel relaxed, with a long evening ahead of you. You’ll encounter frequent frustration when you find a perfect link candidate and comb the site in vain for the Webmaster or site owner’s e-mail address — indeed, any contact information at all.

Above all, remember that links to your bait piece are not the end in themselves. You’ve installed your bait within your site, so that any inbound link to your information piece stimulates readers who find it valuable to explore the rest of your site and buy your products or sign on as clients. That’s the real goal of all this work!

The Fatal Attraction of Online Marketers

Suppose you were offered 263 links coming into your website from 263 other websites all in one fell swoop. Everybody knows that the more inbound links you have, the higher you will rise in the search engine rankings.

Suppose further that these were real links from real websites that actually sold real products and services – no cheap FFAs throwing come-ons on a street corner on the bad side of town.

Suppose further that this offer included the reciprocal linking code for all 263 sites that just had to be cut and pasted into your website. Piece of cake.

Does it get any sexier than this? Are you drooling yet? Does the sweet perfume of “ka-ching!” float around your head? Is this love at first site?

Well, no, it’s actually a fatal attraction, one you had best resist. One that could infect your website with deadly communicable diseases.

I resisted this very offer not long ago, and you should resist anything similar. Here’s why:

The link pages on these sites are essentially link farms. The more links on a page, the less value they have in a search engine’s eyes, especially when you start approaching or even passing 100 links. And don’t expect any direct traffic from this kind of link, either.

There is a technical term for identical pages within a site or on multiple sites. It is called “duplicate content”, and it is strictly verboten by the search engines. Here is what Google says about them: “Don’t create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.”

Do some quick math. You have 289 outgoing links, 263 of them are labeled “bad neighborhood websites” by the search engines … so bad that they might even have been banned. What do you think will happen to your rankings?

Sadly, many webmasters fall for such tantalizing come-ons without thinking carefully about what the repercussions might be.

There is a lot of truly bad advice floating around the Internet on how to trick the search engines or find a short-cut to high rankings. This is one example of how following poor advice and hopping into bed with the wrong partner could kill your business.

Here is a good rule of thumb. Two’s company. Three’s a crowd. Four or more will get you arrested. OK, so I just made that up, and it’s not very elegant. But it will keep you from falling for that inevitable offer with the come-hither eyes and the deadly communicable disease.

How I Achieved Over 1500 Hits In My First Two Weeks

For anyone who owns an established website, has just started a website or is even thinking about starting a website, the question remains the same – “How can I get traffic to my site?”

That was the question I asked myself when I first started my website, Kumiko’s Cash Quest. Generating traffic to a new website has to be one of the hardest things to do on the internet today. Not only is there an absolute plethora of competition for most topics, but factors such as sponsored listings on search engines and the Google Sandbox effect can push your newly established website to the bottom of the barrel – and that’s a hard place for people to find it!

If you search the internet, you’ll find many articles from professional webmasters about how they increased traffic to their website. The problem is that a lot of the advice does not apply to the amateur or first-time webmaster. Recommendations such as “put links to your other posts in your feeds” do not carry much weight for a webmaster who doesn’t have anyone subscribing to their feeds! Similarly, “create a link to your site from one of your other, high-ranking sites” is impossible for someone who is creating their FIRST site. Furthermore, programs such as AdWords and other advertising systems are not practical for an amateur webmaster without a budget for their website.

So how is it that I achieved over 1500 hits to my brand new website in my first two weeks (starting from nothing)? Before I begin, let me just tell you that it’s not easy! And while 1500 hits may not be a large number compared to other sites, for a brand new website it can be very difficult to achieve. I spent a lot of time in front of a computer screen for this to occur but if you’re not afraid of a little hard work to promote your site, please read on!

The answer to how I gained traffic to a fresh, new site can be answered in six simple steps:

1. Research Your Market

This is by far the hardest and most time consuming of all the steps, yet it is definitely the most important! Although my site launched on December 30th 2006, the whole month of December was spent researching sites claiming to have information on increasing traffic (usually for a fee!) and how to optimize your website for search engines. This was incredibly time consuming due to the literally millions of sites out there claiming to have all the best information. Yet, despite the number of sites, the information all seemed to be repeated and quite similar. Basically, every one of these sites gave the following information:

Update regularly – This will invite the search engines to visit you more often.

Create a website on a topic that interests you – I don’t feel this is completely necessary, but it does help maintain the motivation to keep building the site during it’s initial stages.

Get links from other high-ranking sites related to your topic – Easier said than done for a new site!

“Build a fresh, content-rich site” – AAAAHHH!!!! I don’t know how many times I read this on the ‘build your traffic’ sites, but it was about 4 million too many! Unfortunately, it’s true!

Find a niche-market – The internet has million of sites. There are not may niche markets left. You are going to have a fair amount of competition in any market. Luckily, the internet has billions of users so you can still get a piece of the pie in any market.

While the research stage was time-consuming and often pointless, it did give me the most important piece of advice:

“Update regularly on a topic that you can write a lot about”

2. Submit, Submit, Submit

It goes without saying that you need to submit your site to Google and other major search engines. All major search engines have a ‘submit your site’ link, so this is quite easy. Somewhat more time-consuming is submitting your site to ‘community-based sites’. This involves searching for link directories and other community sites and submitting your information again and again and again.

Most people aim for the major link-directories with a high Google PageRank as they feel that this will increase their PageRank too. That philosophy is quite sound, yet don’t ignore the smaller directories! While these directories may not list as many sites and lack a high PageRank, your site will stand out a lot more. Being a big fish in a small pond can generate quite a few hits. The underlying advice with directories is to submit to all of them - big or small.

Next, submit your site to ‘community-based’ sites such MyBlogLog, MySiteProfile etc. These sites are fantastic as they often give you your own homepage to display information about your site. For a new, small site, this will virtually double your visibility on the web. Furthermore, it enables you join communities of similar websites. People often surf based on what topic they are interested in so if you are a member of a community people will often come to your site from other similar sites. It’s just like getting links from other well-established sites.

If you’re a blogger, join traffic generation sites such as BlogMad and BlogExplosion. These sites are fantastic and easy for bringing hits to your site. But there is a downside – surfers to your site will usually only stay the required amount of time and then leave. However, if your blog is good enough, they’ll come back. Another word of warning is to be careful if your site displays Adsense. Using these traffic generation sites can violate the Adsense Terms of Service. I’ve never used these sites to bring traffic to an Adsense site, but here’s a tip: Surf other people’s sites and use the credits earned to display your banner on other sites or rent space on other sites. BlogExplosion has a fantastic feature called ‘Rent My Blog’ that enables just this. It’s free advertising and you’ll achieve higher visibility than with AdWords!

3. Write, Write, Write

As I said before, the phrase “build a fresh, content-rich” site is used far too much, but unfortunately it’s true. To establish your site, you need to write and write a lot. It’s the only way that your site is going to grow and become successful. This is why it’s important to have a website on a topic that you’re interested in – if you’re not interested, you’ll lose motivation pretty quickly.

Writing can be difficult and time-consuming so there are many sites out there that provide free articles for you to download and post on your site. FORGET THEM. For a new website, you need to build your site with unique content. Google and your visitors will recognize that your information has come from another source and will be less likely to return to your site – they will seek out the source that it came from instead!

Once your site is well-established with a loyal readership, you can think about adding some free articles, but until then you need to promote your site as being fresh and unique.

4. Give Your Site A Personality

This step isn’t for everybody and depends on the content of your site. You need to show your visitors the ‘personality’ of your website. Look at successful sites such as Problogger and WhoIsAndrewWee. What do you notice? Large photos of the webmasters. Is it vanity? Perhaps a little, but it also personalizes your site and gives your site a face that people can relate to and communicate (see Step 5) with. It’s worked for Microsoft (Bill Gates) and Apple (Steve Jobs) and it will work for you!

If you’re not comfortable posting your photo or feel that it wouldn’t suit your site, at least write an “About the Author” section on your site so that people know more about you. Check out AndrewWee’s Bio. With all that information, we know exactly who is writing and it gives his site ‘personality’!

5. Enter Your Vistor’s World

If somebody sends you an e-mail about your site – reply. If someone leaves a comment on your site – go to their site and post a comment.

It’s another incredibly time-consuming technique, yet one of the best for gaining repeat visitors. Darren Rowse from Problogger is an incredibly busy man who makes a living from blogging online, yet he replied to one of my e-mails within 12 hours of it being sent. Andrew Wee is another successful internet marketer who also replies promptly.

This brings your site into the home of the visitor and they will come back to see what you’re going to write next.

The other great way to enter your visitor’s world is web forums. Post and post some more! Web forums are great communities for promoting your site. Find a forum that is about the topic you are writing about and become active in it. Forums such as Mylot will even pay you to post in their forums. This promotes your site to communities that are interested in your topic and that are incredibly likely to come visit your site. Don’t forget to add your website address to your signature to make your website easy to find. If you can’t find a forum on the topic you’re site is about – no problem – start your own!

The other benefit of forums is that search engines absolutely love them! Forums are updated constantly which brings the search engines back – and they’re going to find your link in your signature! Consider yourself indexed!

6. Approach The Masters

The web is one big interactive community. Just as you need to communicate with those who write to you, you are going to need to start writing to others.

See a nice site in your topic area that you like? Ask them politely for a link exchange. Find a fantastic PR10 site that is just what you’re trying to achieve? Ask them politely for a link exchange. Be polite and write enough to show you’re not a spammer. They may refuse, but if they accept you’re on an easy street with a lot of traffic!

As Google admits, the links that your site receives are an extremely important factor when it comes to your site’s PageRank and ranking in searches.

A word of warning when linking to other sites: Don’t link with just any site. Only link to sites that are established and relevant to your area. Your “cat food” site linking to a site about “paper manufacturing” will not help your rankings and make your site seem disjointed. Google will recognize this and punish you for it. Also, don’t ask for link exchanges until you are well-established. If you ask for a link exchange and the person visits your site to find that you have just one article or post on your blog, you are going to look unprofessional and are likely to be refused. Wait a couple of weeks until you have more posts and your site is “fuller” – the sites are more likely to accept the exchange and may even place you higher on their link list! Links from other sites are the easiest way to generate traffic!

So there are my six steps for How I Achieved Over 1500 Hits In My First 2 Weeks! I strongly believe this advice can work for anyone with a new site and for those with an established site who are seeking more hits.

Good luck!

How to Market Your Ebook

Writing and marketing your own ebook is an excellent way to help build your online and/or home business.

Being able to offer your own informative, quality ebook will establish you as someone who knows what they are talking about. This will earn you trust and respect and go a long way towards building your online presence.

People will start coming to you and your site when they need products, advice, support, help, etc. thus bringing you many more customers and /or subscribers.

There are many ways to market your ebook. Some of the best ways are listed below:

Put your ebook in your sigtag along with a free bonus. The free bonus will attract more people and bring in more sales.

Joint Ventures: Team up with other ebook authors or ezine publishers or webmasters to cross promote each other’s products or services. Agree to send referrals to each other and recommend each other’s products.

Use an excerpt from your ebook as an article and submit it to as many directories as possible. Be sure to mention your ebook in your resource box.

Search out quality targeted ezines and purchase solo or top sponsor ad spots.

Submit your ebook to as many ebook directories as you can. The more links to your ebook, the better.

Write a keyword rich sales page and optimize it for the search engines with meta tags and page title.

Offer two or three free bonuses with your ebook. Make and offer that is very hard or impossible to refuse.

Ask a few people to write reviews for your ebook in exchange for a free copy. Post the reviews on your site.

Offer a free report as a lead-in to your ebook. People love free information and if you offer a quality report that gets them interested they very well may want to buy your ebook.

If you publish an ezine, ask other ezine publishers to swap solo or top sponsor ads. I prefer top sponsor ads but many marketers have said that solo ads get the most results.

Start an affiliate program and offer people a percentage to sell your ebook. One of the best places to do this is Clickbank. For a small fee you can set up your affiliate program and increase your sales many times over.

Offer the first chapter or two as a freebie. Be sure and leave them wanting more.

Visit message boards or join discussion groups to learn marketing strategies that have worked for other publishers and authors. If it works for them, it can work for you as well.

As with any marketing campaign, you have to stick with it. Be consistent. You cannot submit to a couple of directories and post to a couple message boards and then sit back and wait to get rich. Marketing is a daily commitment.

The possibilities are endless as to ways to market your ebook. Be sure and combine many of the strategies for one successful marketing campaign. Be creative and come up with new innovative marketing ideas. Find out what works and get started marketing that new ebook!

E-books: A Powerful Promotion Weapon

E-books are a new medium for sharing marketing information, techniques, and expert knowledge. Each day the number of people accessing the Internet grows, causing the exposure of an e-book to increase incrementally.

E-books have certain abilities and qualities that other mediums don´t possess.
For example, e-books are fairly easy to produce and their production cost in terms of money is zero. Just think about it: you don’t need a publisher, a printing press, offset film, ink, paper, or even a distributor. You just need a great concept, the ability to write it or to hire a writer, and the right software to make it.

Also, e-books have the possibility of an easy and rapid online distribution. They are also easily updated; they don´t require a reprint. All you need is to go into your first creation and make the opportune modifications. Because of this flexibility, e-books can change and increase the size as fast as you can type.

E-books are also immediately obtainable. You don’t have to go to a bookstore. All you have to do is download it from a website, and save in your computer.

E-books can be interactive. This is one of the most unique and specific qualities that e-books offer. You can add surveys, order forms for customers to purchase your products, sound and video, even direct links to relevant sites that will expand your e-book outward. The potential is virtually limitless.

There are a lot of ways to use e-books to promote your business and drive qualified visitors to your website. You can use them as a free gift for making a purchase or for filling out a subscription to your newsletter. You can put your e-book on a CD, and you will have an innovative brochure. Blow your competition away by inserting the CD into your sales packages.

The most effective marketing products are those that are unique. Copyright your e-book, and immediately, you have a powerful tool that you can offer to the public. People will have to visit your site to get your e-book, which increases the flow of quality traffic (and the potential of sales and affiliate contacts).

You can extend the value of one e-book by breaking the book down into chapters for a serial e-course, into special reports available only on your website, or into audio or visual tapes. E-books can be broken down into several different promotional materials by excepting some of the articles and using them to promote your product. You can include a catalog in your e-book to promote all the products or services you sell. You can include a “thank you note” for reading your book and an invitation to download a trial version of your product. Or you can include a form for your audience to contact you for further information or with questions, thereby building your business relationships and your mailing list.

No other medium has this kind of flexibility and ability for expansion. Think of your e-book like a spider spinning a beautiful and intricate web.Now go and create that web, and see how many customers and prospects you can catch

Create Your Ebook For An Easy Read

Every successful non-fiction book, including e-books have a set structure. Readers enjoy easy-to-read maps to guide them through your book. They love consistency. It is disconcerting and unprofessional if you change formats throughout the book.

You must create an outline to structure your chapters and then fill in the blanks as you work on your book. The best non-fiction books have a set structure to house each chapter. Use repeating elements in each chapter. Your readers will love knowing generally what to expect in each chapter and reward you by reading your book from start to finish. Your consistency, your focused, themed copy will keep your reader reading to the end because it’s easy to read.

You should organize your chapters before writing with a table of contents, chapter title, brief quote, introduction, list of supporting points, and a brief summary.

Selecting Your Saleable Topic
Choose a topic that people are hungry for information and you have a passion for. Either you already know a wealth of information about this topic or its one you want to find out more about.

Interested in helping people get financially fit? You could research the latest financial plans, get out of debt plans and/or budgeting plans to see if they work.
Develop at least 8-10 questions people want the answer to in getting financially fit.

Interview 10-15 people and you will have an interesting survey, interviews and testimonials to put into your solutions oriented ebook. Post it on the internet and put it in front of the stream of people looking for financial solutions each month.

Develop Your Table of Contents
Begin by developing topic areas for your table of contents. For example, the 8-10 major areas listed in my Creating a Website with Marketing WOW ebook began with this list of topics:

• Giving Your Site a Purpose
• Design Rules to Define Your Website
• Website Dos & Don’ts
• 7 Keys to Winning Website Sales Copy
• Search Engine Optimization Made Easy
• Free to Profit Marketing Strategy TM
• Correct These Website Mistakes and Prosper

The list of topics will become your chapters list or table of contents.

Divide each Chapter Topic into Questions list
The easiest method is to take each chapter topic and list questions your audience needs an answer to. Or if you have a wealth of information, you would simply list 5-8 points to support your chapter topic. A good organization tips is to include these as chapter notes right before the introduction.

That way your audience will have a preview of what’s covered in each chapter. Also, when you are writing you will have a clear guideline as what you need to write next. The Chapter Outlines for the Creating a Website with Marketing WOW ebook developed like so:

Chapter Three
Stellar Web Copy Sells
Sizzle Your Web Copy to Sell Your Service/Product
Wow Website Notes:
• Give Your Copy a Theme
• Capture Interest with Headlines
• Identify and Personalize Benefits
• Help Visitors Visualize
• Power Punch Your Words
• Add Engagement tools
• Make it Web Ready
• Help Your Site Pass Inspection With Your Visitors

If you have any problems coming up with questions to support your chapter topics, visit the discussion forums and support groups in your targeted market.

Commit to a Regular Writing Schedule
You have gotten started. That’s great. Now commit to a regular writing schedule of 30 minutes to one hour. To gain momentum, set a goal to answer at least 3 questions each day from your book.

You might be surprised to discover how fast you can accomplish your book and put it on the market for profit.

Avoid This Speed-Breaker
Many writers and business professionals are perfectionist, including me. But to maintain momentum and complete your book fast, you must avoid premature editing and over-editing. After getting the book out of your head to paper, use one of your regular writing sessions to self-edit your book. Your copy will be compelling and without doubt, if you don’t use the stop and start method of editing.

Don’t wait any longer. Get your e-book done and whiz past all the people that wonder if it can be done and the dream-killers that tell you it can’t be done. Implement the above principles, organize your book and get it written faster than you ever dreamed.

The Internet Marketing Revolution: The Curve is Headed Straight Up

When a sample of 500 teenagers were asked in December 2001 what was the most important invention of the last millennium, the majority said - the Computer. Will we ever log off in the 21st century? Probably not.

Have you heard of the toilet which automatically opens the lid as you are about to do your business and the lid closes when you’re done and the toilet flushes - all on auto. Oh but wait, there’s more. The seat warms itself via remote control and it comes with an automatic air purifier too.

That’s just the start — get ready for a life led completely through the computer. Virtual adventures will abound; there’ll even be cyber vacations, devoid of real sand, real saltwater and — here’s the good one — real sunburn. The virtual shopping experience is becoming uncannily similar to the experience of physically moving through a grocery store.

Internet Marketing Trends & Projections. With a projected worldwide Internet population of 1.8 billion in 2010 , the rising trend in e-commerce is unstoppable. $39 Billion in 1998, $114 Billion in 1999, by 2001 ecommerce revenue rose to $600 Billion. And guess who’s shopping. Teenagers, Generation-Xs, Baby Boomers and even seniors - the fastest growing segment online.

Ask yourself 3 questions. Did the Internet Marketing gold rush end with the passing of the dot.com era? Are there fortunes still to be made on the Internet? Are you making a fortune on the Internet?

Why not? Because fortunes are being made 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. All you need is access to a computer. The Internet will continue to create new opportunities and destroy old ways and methods of doing business. You must stake your claim or watch it all happen.

You’ve got 4 chances of making money on the Internet right now.

1. Become an Investor. The problem – you must pick the right stock and have the money you are willing to risk.

2. Become a Developer. The problem – you need technical training. Are you ready to quit your job & go back to school?

3. Become a Seller. The problem – you need a marketable product or service & lawyers & patent & an infrastructure and a website – a good one because 4 out 5 users never re-visit the “average” website or

4. You can start right now with what you have right from where you are.

The Internet Marketing Revolution Will Only Happen Once. And everyone reading this will have the same opportunity. Bottom line, get involved or get run over. But how can you get involved? What could you possibly bring to the table? The answer is - your mouth.

Internet Buzz Marketing. You see, the Internet has a problem. In early Nov, 2006 it was reported that the number of websites has past the 100-million mark. You will never see them all. No one ever will.

Major players spend billions of dollars to get eyeballs to look at their website. Result? Some are still losing money. Hollywood has the same problem. Over 400 movies are being produced in Hollywood a year. Did you see everyone or did you see the ones that you friends recommended?

Hollywood can spend millions every year promoting movies. But a bad review from your co-worker means you’re not going. Good or bad, word of mouth advertising – works!

People were questioned about how they found websites. Word of mouth was cited by 100% of respondents. The average consumer tells 12 people about a great website. It’s called a BUZZ. Advertising can’t buy it. Hollywood can’t create it. But you can get paid for making it. Paid for your opinion. Paid for creating a buzz.

So, how do you cash in? That PC on your desktop is 100 times more powerful than the computer that sent man to the moon. Isn’t it time you put it to work?

In a recent report, “3 out of 4 holiday shoppers said they plan to shop for holiday gifts online, and 75 % said they are likely to purchase gifts online from small businesses. Nearly a third of holiday shoppers said that they would do half or more of their holiday shopping online, and nearly two thirds said online specialty, “niche,” or boutique retailers are one of the “best places” to shop for unusual or hard-to-find gifts.” (Jennifer LeClaire, E-Commerce Times - Nov 21, 2006)

Is Internet Marketing For You? Call it Networking, Affiliate Marketing. Direct Selling, Referral Marketing. Call it whatever you want. It’s becoming a Trillion dollar business.

A business that you can do part time or full time. And it can be started at home with no large capital outlay. Low overhead. No employees. And no special business expertise or technical skills. A business that allows you to work your hours for your goals.

A business that offers time freedom. Financial freedom. And a franchise-like step by step business plan. And according to most experts a home based business offers incredible tax advantages. What are you waiting for? You think e-commerce is going away?

Statistics show that more and more adults ages 25 – 44 are looking to own their own business. The only question is are you ready? Are you tired of being passed up for promotions? Tired of commuting? Tired of the rat race? Are you ready to work your own hours?

Look at the facts. Even with all that’s happened, this is just the beginning. What are you gonna say 10 – 20 – 30 years from now, when your grandkids ask if you were involved in the Internet Marketing Revolution?

The greatest boom is still ahead. A wealth of business opportunity continues to go to waste. There is a limited window of opportunity. Timing is critical. In the Internet economy it’s called, first mover advantage. It’s your move.

Tips for Success

The key to ensuring success with B2B Exchanges are in planning, active participation, learning the tools necessary to use the Exchange effectively and dedication to work through it.

1. Choosing the Right B2B Exchange

Although, there are huge benefits in participating in a B2B Exchange, you have to be careful in selecting one. Not all B2B Exchanges might work for you. There are thousands of B2B Exchanges available on the Internet. Some are industry specific, some cater only certain geographical areas, and some concentrate more on delivering business tools to the participants. The challenge is to select the right B2B Exchange, which will serve your particular needs.

In order to conduct the selection process you must establish certain goal. Possible objectives for you should be to:

• Generate sales • Get access to a large numbers of buyers or sellers • Find distributors and importers • Enhance customer relationships through online tools • Develop product awareness • Extend market shares • Conduct market research • Streamline supply chain • Automate selling process • Adopt e-procurement

Your goal should combine several of these objectives.

In evaluating a B2B Exchange you also should consider whether it has following features, as these features are vital elements for any good B2B exchange.

1. Product catalog based on an industry-standard classification system 2. Product search capability within the marketplace and e-catalog 3. Directory of members 4. Product content adding and editing interface 5. Ability to promote products and services

Other key characteristics of a B2B exchange also include:

Simplicity – Primary tools of the exchange should be easy to learn and use.

Significant membership base – The quantity of members should be big enough, so that new participants can expand their business from the very first day.

Flexibility – The Exchange should add new and modify existing tools according to the market need.

Neutrality – The Exchange owners should be unbiased and maintain absolute neutrality. Providing an open and transparent market for all the participants is an important constituent of the value proposition of a B2B exchange. 2. Preparation

Participation in a B2B exchange in order to achieve successful result is a serious commitment. Study the exchange of your choice thoroughly. If they offer trial membership, subscribe! Spend time on learning the tools - how they work? Are they beneficial to your business?

- saving money - making seamless adoption - increasing productivity right from the beginning - reaching your goals faster

However, poor preparation can get you into serious trouble.

- You may encounter higher costs - Productivity may suffer significantly - You even may be forced to abandon the whole idea

How To Make Money With Agloco?

AGLOCO: The Internet’s First Economic Network

Today’s hottest Internet businesses are all about the power of social networks. Companies like MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube have become worth billions because businesses have realized that these social networks are generating huge advertising and marketing opportunities. As these social networks grow, the economic potential for its owners – and the advertisers who target the site’s users – is remarkable.

At AGLOCO, we asked a simple question: The users created the community, where’s their share of the profit?

It was from this question that AGLOCO set out to create the Internet’s first Economic Network, harnessing the power of Internet-based social networks to directly benefit the Members who help to create the community.

Becoming a member of AGLOCO is as simple as completing a brief sign-up page (name, age, location and email address.). Once you’re a Member, you will be asked to then download the Viewbar™ software. (Note: the Viewbar™ software is currently unavailable, as it is in closed testing. It will be ready for public download in a few weeks, and members will be notified when it is available.)

AGLOCO makes money for its Members in many ways:

Search: Every time you use the Viewbar™ to do an Internet search, AGLOCO earns money from the search engine providers. (For example, Google pays as much as $0.10 on average for each search that is directed to its search engine.)

Advertising: The Viewbar™ itself displays ads that are targeted based upon the websites you’re visiting. When you click on an ad and make a purchase, AGLOCO receives a referral fee, which we pass on to our Members. (Please note: Individual members do not receive any compensation for clicking on ads in the Viewbar™, and the Viewbar™ can detect if someone is clicking ads in a fraudulent manner.)

Transaction commissions: Many major retailers pay commissions when you refer customers who make a purchase. AGLOCO collects that commission and passes it on to our members. (For example, Amazon pays an 8.5% commission to most websites who refer customers, and has cut deals for even larger percentages. The bigger the AGLOCO community, the better commission we can negotiate for our Members.)

Software distribution: Numerous software companies pay websites to encourage the download of new software releases (for example, Adobe’s Flash and Acrobat Reader software), and trial versions of new programs. AGLOCO members not only get access to the latest and coolest software, they get paid for it.

Service distribution: Many online service providers will look to the AGLOCO community as a source of new and active users for their services. (For example, eBay, Skype, and PayPal, among others, all pay fees to people who help them recruit new active users to their services)

Product distribution: When Members agree to use a product, such as cell phones, high-tech gadgets, office supplies, new credit cards or financial services, AGLOCO can collect referral fees. Some companies even offer special rebate and cash-back programs.
AGLOCO Members make money in four ways.
Members earn a monthly share of the AGLOCO revenue based on the use of the AGLOCO Viewbar™ that month.
Members earn part of the company based on the use of the AGLOCO Viewbar™ that month (currently a maximum of five hours are rewarded). Click here for details.
Members who use our referral system to help build the AGLOCO network will earn more. (AGLOCO only has significant value as a large network and people who help build it should be rewarded. – We also feel that the early users who told friends about YouTube or MySpace or even Google probably deserved something too, but no referral system was available to record their work).
Members will also get a share of any commissions AGLOCO gets when a Member purchases a product or service from an AGLOCO Sponsor company.
Why should I join now?
First, it costs nothing to Join and takes less than one minute.

Second, you can help build the AGLOCO community by recruiting new Members TODAY.

Right now, inviting your friends to join AGLOCO is as easy and productive as it will ever be – but you need to invite your friends before someone else beats you to them.

Remember, the bigger the AGLOCO community, the more attractive AGLOCO is to potential business partners and advertisers.

Recruit your friends and family by contacting them through email. (But remember we have a strict anti-spam policy.)
Use your blog and your existing social networks, such as MySpace and Facebook, to contact your friends and encourage them to join a new community that will actually let them earn money.
